Are you a customer-focused professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and creating positive experiences—but also gets excited about finding opportunities to grow business? The Varnadore Agency is seeking a Customer Service Representative who can balance excellent service with the ability to pivot into in-book sales that benefit both the client and the agency.
This is a fully licensed position (Property & Casualty and Life & Health). If you are not currently licensed, you must be willing to obtain your licenses—with full support and paid training provided.
Role Description
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the voice of our agency—helping clients with policy updates, resolving inquiries, and ensuring every interaction builds trust. You’ll also have the opportunity to identify in-book sales opportunities that improve customer coverage, strengthen relationships, and support agency growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Excellent Service – Answer customer inquiries, handle policy changes, and provide prompt, professional assistance.
- Support Claims – Help clients navigate the claims process and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Identify In-Book Sales Opportunities – Recognize client needs and recommend additional coverage or upgrades to enhance protection.
- Stay Organized – Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and updates.
- Collaborate for Success – Work with the team to ensure smooth operations and top-tier client experiences.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A service-first attitude with the confidence to engage in sales conversations when appropriate.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Previous customer service experience preferred; sales experience a plus.
- Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health (or willingness to obtain with agency support).
